Visit to Lodge St. Bryde No 991, Kemnay

It was an early start on a dreich Saturday morning when The Right Worshipful Master, Bro. David Watson led 21 brethren in two mini-buses (boosted later by the arrival of a further 6 brethren in their own cars) to Lodge St. Bryde No. 991 in Kemnay, Aberdeenshire where Lodge Union Crown gave a demonstration of their popular Dramatised FC degree.

The weather was not any better on our arrival at Kemnay but was dispelled by the warmth of the welcome we received on entering the Lodge. While the Temple itself filled with visitors, the brethren of 307 were treated to some much appreciated soup, sandwiches, tea and coffee upstairs.

Following the meeting (attendance 76) and what was a well received degree, the Temple was set out for, firstly, a meal followed by an 'old fashioned' harmony with jokes, song and bagpipe music filling the hall.

Even later... Some of the brethren of 307 were entertained in Aberdeen's club land, but that's another story altogether. A good weekend was had by all.
